President Lincoln’s Birthday Celebration!

The Buffalo History Museum boasts the distinction of hosting the longest running ceremonial celebration of our 16th President's birthday in the United States.

Starting in the State Court Room of the Museum, excerpts from Lincoln’s 2nd inaugural address will be delivered by an Abraham Lincoln character actor who will then lead a procession of guests and Civil War re-enactors  will be present. Display by presented by Echoes Through Time Civil War Museum.

After the ceremony, the Irish Volunteers Band and Fife & Drum Corps will continue the celebration with lively entertainment.  Refreshments are made available for purchase. The Museum Shop and all exhibits will be open to browse and explore.

Date: Sunday, February 15, 2014 (Lincoln’s actual birthday is Feb 12) 

Time: 12 noon – 3 p.m. (formal program begins at 2 p.m.)  

Admission: Free during the event
